Greetings all! This weekend is Easter, which means spring is in full swing! I thought I’d do a quick roundup of a few of my favorite “pastel” nail polish colors for some fun easter egg inspired manicures.
Mod About You
OPI ($6.85; Amazon)
Mod About You is a cute opaque baby pink color that’s long lasting and well pigmented. I’ve noticed that OPI uses a wider brush which makes the polish easier to apply. This color is fully opaque after two coats & dries to a nice, shiny finish.
Essie ($8.49; Target)
If you are craving a little more saturation, Tarte Deco might be more your style. It’s a warm coral color with pinky undertones) that works great for Spring and Summer looks. The formula is a little on the thin side, but it’s opaque after two coats.
Green With Envy
Maybelline Color Show ($2.39; Ulta)
For minty fresh nail look, Green With Envy is a good option. The formula on this one can be a bit streaky, but two coats gets it good to go.
Formula X ($10.50; Sephora)
If pastels aren’t your thing, Indelible might be up your alley. It’s a cool toned violet color. I’ve been pretty impressed by the few Formula X polishes I’ve tried; although the formula is on the thicker side, they wear well and are very opaque.
